Our Company
Steve Waters acquired Maintenance Man in October 2007, from by James Wilson who established the business in 2000, based on the Wirral
Adding Maintenance Man to the Root + Rodent Solutions Group portfolio facilitated the growth of the project management side of the business that was still in its infancy. Although it may seem like diversification, increasingly clients satisfied with their landscaping and grounds maintenance work had been requesting additional work to be undertaken, including co-ordinating tradesman and materials for building an extension.
The opportunity to acquire Maintenance Man presented itself, and it's propreietor James Wilson, joined the Root + Rodent Solutions team, bringing a wealth of experience to enable both businesses to grow under one umbrella company.
Our Clients
Many of our clients are busy people, who never have enough hours in the day to do those little jobs around the house, or to organise major projects they want carrying out. They want someone they know to be reliable to get the job done with minimum of fuss, and often turn to us, their grounds maintenance team to do the job – now, with the acquisition of Maintenance Man we have a dedicated resource to fulfil their needs.
Other existing clients are commercial institutions, who like the idea of a “one stop” solution to their problems, whether it be a simple leak somewhere or full scale improvement schemes.
Using a company they have grown to rely on for a high standard of work in grounds maintenance, gives them peace of mind when passing over the responsibility of other routine maintenance to a familiar team.

Based on the Wirral, our clients extend from Chester to Merseyside.
